Project focus
Position the studio for couples who care about atmosphere, family, restraint, and the emotional memory of the day.
Case study / 01 / Wedding video website
A cinematic home for sentimental wedding stories, designed to make atmosphere, trust, and inquiry feel like one continuous experience.
The assignment
Retrosound needed more than a beautiful portfolio. The experience had to communicate emotional restraint, establish luxury credibility, and guide couples from first impression to the right inquiry without interrupting the feeling of the work.
The thinking
Position the studio for couples who care about atmosphere, family, restraint, and the emotional memory of the day.
Move from a cinematic opening into portfolio proof, brand story, useful journal content, and a clear invitation to inquire.
Use venue guides and destination-focused stories as valuable entry points while individual films reinforce authority and taste.
Soft neutrals, quiet typography, film-forward imagery, and patient spacing keep the emotional work in the foreground.

The result is a site that builds desire slowly, then makes the next step obvious at exactly the right moment.
